N95 Respiratory Protection Features and Specs
Pyramex respiratory masks are tested to the N95 designation according to NIOSH, or the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health of the CDC.
N95 respirators are respiratory protective devices designed to achieve a close facial fit and efficient filtration of airborne particles. The 95 stands for the respirator’s ability to block 95% of very small oil-free particulates.
Soft, smooth outer and inner layers of the mask are comfortable on the skin unlike other masks, which can be uncomfortably rough.
ADJUSTABLE NOSE PIECE:
Outer aluminum nose piece holds masks’ shape and provides a proper fit during use.
Thick shell materials prevent the mask from collapsing and provide for extended use while still maintaining low breathing resistance.
INNER FOAM STRIP:
The masks’ inner foam strip rests comfortably across nose bridge and reduces the potential for eyewear fogging.
